New Big Girl Bed!!

I finally figured out that I actually could take the front of Rhaegan's crib off. It's not really suppose to come off but I made it work. We did it last Saturday morning while Rhaegan was watching some cartoons. After we got everything put back together we called her back and when she saw it the look on her face was priceless. She was a little confused at first but then was so excited to have a "big girl bed." She wanted to just sit on it and read her books. It's hard to believe that she's a big girl now but I guess they all have to grow up sooner or later.
A little unsure of the whole thing

A lot more comfortable (obviously)

Now she is definitely in her element!!

Friday Run at Bridal Veil Falls

Last Friday was a really beautiful day out so we decided to do our workouts outside instead at the gym. We drove to Bridal Veil Falls, park our car and did a 4 mile run. It was hard but a lot of fun. Rhaegan and I thought we would get a little bit extra out of the workout so we did some lunges. I am still feeling the burn today. I can't wait for the weather to be nice all the time instead of just once in a while. We are getting a little tired of snow in April.

Rhaegan caught on to the concept of lunges. She had her hands on her head and everything. It brought back terrible memories of swim practice and lunging around the pool deck.

We stopped and took some pictures by the stream. Rhaegan was a little nervous. She thought I was going to throw her in or something.
Shae got to pose too. Aren't they cute?

At the end of the run there was a little playground so Rhaegan got to enjoy some time outside of the stroller. She loves the slides.

Kangaroo Zoo

Rhaegan and I got to go to Kangaroo Zoo yesterday with some friends. For those of you who don't know what Kangaroo Zoo is it's a huge building that is full of blow-up slides and toys. Pretty much a kids heaven on earth. Rhaegan, of course, was scared at first to go on anything. She eventually went with her friend E on this little bouncing room/slide (see below), but I wasn't about to let that be all she did. I took her on the biggest slide there and to my amazement once we got to the top she wanted to go down all by herself. After that she ventured out and discovered some other really fun rides. She and I really had a lot of fun. Thank you Gma for a great time.
Rhaegan and E figuring out that they really could do this one by themselves.

Rhaegan tried to do this slide by herself but then she saw that at the end of the slide there was a huge dinosaur. She decided to just jump around instead.

She climbed the ladder (which by the way is a lot harder then it looks) but didn't make it down the slide on the other side.

After about an hour and a half of running, climbing ladders and bouncing it was time for a little snack. She was so worn out that she was actually asking me for a nap.

Rhaegan & Her High Heels

Rhaegan is really into wearing my shoes and loves the heels more than all the rest. She does pretty well in them but sometimes they get the best of her and down she goes. She also loves to wear them with no pants. I'm not sure why but I guess pants would be just too much.
She starts out just fine, walking around with no problem...
Then she starts to get a little wobbly and....
down she goes.
It doesn't effects her one bit though.
She always gets right back up and continues walking around

A Day with Horton!

(This is Rhaegan's reaction to me saying, "Do you want to go and see Horton?")

Shae, Rhaegan and I had the opportunity on Friday to see the movie "Horton Hears a Who." We were a little worried about how Rhaegan would do, but luckily she loved the movie and was very interested in watching it for about an hour. After that she was ready to be doing something else. There were only 2 other small families in the theater with us so Rhaegan was able to get up and move around without bothering others. For those of you who haven't seen Horton I definitely recommend it. It was so cute!!! I actually laughed out loud a lot, which is how I really judge a movie. Jim Carrey is great as Horton. Hope you all have a great week.

"I Love to See the Temple" by Rhaegan

I have had several requests for Rhaegan to sing again so this morning while she was reading her books she started to sing so I grabbed the camera and started recording. Hope you like it.
