Phoenix 2008 (Part I)

Last weekend Rhaegan and I flew down to Phoenix to spend the weekend with my brother's family. Q and Kate were going out of town for a wedding and so we stayed with their two boys. I don't get to see them much so I was super excited to be there. Rhaegan also thoroughly enjoyed herself. She was a little high maintenance the first day, maybe because of the new place and being over-tired, but after she got more comfortable with her new surroundings she was back to her old self. She bonded immediately with her two cousins as you can see from the picture below. They thought a wrestling match was in order the minute we got home from the airport.

After Q and Kate left we filled out days with walks to the corner gas station for Icees and 44 oz Diet Cokes.
(My mom with Rhaegan and Sam)

Their dog Trigger was a huge hit with Rhaegan (and of course me). He reminded me a lot of my old dog Cody. Rhaegan loved sharing her meals with him.
Then on Saturday we had Sam and Tyson's soccer games to go to. They are both so good at soccer even when it's 100 degrees outside. As you can see my mom was a little uncomfortable with the extreme heat.

From day one ice cream was the only thing on the menu for the kids. Rhaegan didn't even like ice cream until this trip. She always thought it was too cold. But when you're offered it for breakfast who in their right mind would say no. Thanks to Grandma Rhaegan is still asking for it instead of her normal cereal and eggs.

There are so many more pictures to share with you all so that is why there are going to be 2 more parts to this entry. Stay tuned for more fun and exciting Phoenix news.

Hey, remember when we were all in Provo and we weren't married and didn't have any kids? Doesn't that seem like it was just yesterday?? Rheagan is absolutely so dang cute. Glad you're having fun! Miss ya.

Wonderful pictures. But to set the story straight, I didn't give RhaeRhae ice cream for breakfast. She had yogurt and cereal first. But then don't grandmas get to a few "no no" things anyway?
