I love it when everyday household items bring unlimited entertainment to my two girls. Marlee thinks that big spoons are the best and Rhaegan loves teaching her how to bang them on everything (my legs included).
The only setback we had was Marlee toppling over every once in a while.

Just like you were, except you always had to empty out the bottom drawer so you could sit in it instead of the floor.
Mom that story makes me laugh! There is nothing wrong with cheap entertainment! Sometimes it is even more enjoyable since you know it is free!
Amazing how much entertainment kids can get out of plastic bowls, a cardboard box, or bubble wrap. You're right- who needs expensive toys?
