Marlee at 6 Months!

Where does the time go. Now this is the age that I love! She is developing such an adorable personality. All you need to do is look at her and she smiles from ear to ear. I love watching her grow and discover new things. She makes me smile on the gloomiest of days.A Little bit about Marlee at 6 months:

*She loves sweet potatoes (but nothing else)

*She can sit up without any support which is so nice

*She has only laughed once in her life. We try EVERYTHING to get a giggle out of her but apparently I'm not that funny. Instead of laughing she flaps her arms out to the side and shakes with excitement. It's pretty funny to watch.

* Even though her sister can be kind of rough with her, she adores her none the less.

*When she is tired or hungry you will know it. She doesn't hide her feelings too well.

Twiners

I swore I would never match my kids. But then I had another little girl and I've got to tell you, it's actually super fun and cute to have similar outfits some days. Rhaegan enjoys it the most I must say.She gets dressed before we get a chance to dress Marlee for the day. So when Rhaegan sees what Marlee is wearing she immediately goes to her room and changes so she matches Marlee.
I have to say, in my defense I only have three outfits that match each other. Rhaegan will match colors if Marlee ends up wearing something Rhaegan has no true match for.

You have to admit, they are pretty darn cute.

Who Am I?

Here comes SUPER DORA!!! Bart and Crystal got this fun cape on their trip to Mexico and thought Rhaegan would LOVE it. They were right. She thinks Dora is now on the same level as Batman and Superman. When her friends dress up as superheros she puts on this costume and off she soars.
Thanks Bart and Crystal for such a fun gift. It is definitely getting a lot use.

Hangin' Around

These adorable shirts are from North Carolina. When we saw them we thought "how perfect." Rhaegan has always called her grandpas "papa" so we had to get them. I made sure to put a bow in Marlee's hair because the shirts are a little boyish. I rarely get pictures of my girls and me together. This was quick snap shot before we headed outside to play.

My girls are both getting so big. I love watching them discover new things and as you can see Rhaegan has discovered jewelry. She loves to accessorize.

Ten things I love about...

Rhaegan!

1. She is always willing to help me around the house. Cleaning the toilets is her favorite chore.

2. Whenever she can sense I may be having a bad day she will always say "I love you, Mommy" and give me a big hug. It melts my heart every time.

3. She loves to dress up. Whether it's just wearing a simple bracelet or getting completely decked out from head to toe she will always find a way to make herself feel fancy.

4. She loves her friends. I should actually say she lives for her friends. Of course we have the occasional fights and tantrums, but for the most part she is on cloud nine whenever she's with them.

5. She loves to eat pepperoni straight from the bag, but refuses to eat it on her pizza.

6. She is a natural problem solver. If I can't figure out how I'm going to punish her for something she always has the answer; "Mom, just don't worry about getting me in trouble. It's actually not a good idea."

7. She loves Marlee. There have been times when her love has been confused with violence but she does adore her and is always willing to help me with her.

8. She still loves to read. Buying her a new book is the equivalent to us winning the lottery. She is so excited to sit down and make up her own story for each book.

9. Her prayers make we smile. She loves to say them and never wants our help.

10. She loves to help me cook/bake. I love having the company in the kitchen. We always end up having the best conversations.
