Conference

Our General Conference experience was much better this year thanks to some great ideas from Pinterest. Rhaegan and Marlee were both so involved in each session and really enjoyed listening for certain words in each talk for their bingo game. We had treats, games and a whole lot of reverent fun:) It was a wonderful weekend!

Wish it was summer...

Rhaegan and Marlee cannot wait for summer to get here...literally. Sunbathing in the kitchen and constantly swimming in the hot tube are regular activities around here. I have to admit though, I can't wait for summer either!

Easter 2013

Easter was a huge success this year for my girls! This is by far my favorite holiday; the colors, the egg hunts, the dresses. I just love it! And now so do my girls. We had a great egg hunt with our cousins and then the Easter bunny left some great treats for them Easter morning.

Harper really enjoyed playing with all the candy. She would have figured out how to open the candy if I would have let her try for a little longer.

We then had the annual Easter dress picture. It's been so nice here in Idaho that an outside shot was a must.
We also decided to take an inside shot. Marlee has developed some new poses when getting her picture taken.
Unfortunately, Harper was already asleep for this picture. Shae wanted a picture with his girls. I sure love these guys!
Happy Easter Everyone!!

We're still here...

Since my last post we have been so busy. We spent Christmas up in Idaho, went back to Utah then ended up moving back up to Idaho in February. While in Utah we were able to stay with one of my best friends for 4 weeks which ended up being a blast. The kids had a great time and we were able to try out tons of new recipes. Harper is growing like a weed. She is already 8 months old and acts like she's much older. She is a superstar at eating. She loves food as long as its he exact same food that I'm eating. None of this baby food stuff for her. She's not crawling yet but I'm definitely okay with that. She smiles all the time and loves her mom. Marlee is turning into a very confident 4 year old. No one can tell her what to do. She's her own little person. She loves dancing, being naked, eating candy and organizing. She loves her sister when she's not around but when they are together it is WWIII in the house. Rhaegan is our big first grader. She has lots of friends and really loves learning. She is an amazing reader and writer and is constantly writing little stories for us to read. She is also a wonderful babysitter to Harper and Marlee. She's our responsible child who will probably be a great rule follower. We love having three beautiful girls (I don't think boys are in the cards for us) and love watching them grow and learn. Hopefully the next post won't be two months away.

Love

This is what I love the most about being a mom; sister-love. I fortunately know what it's like to have a sister and I wouldn't trade it for the world. These three little ladies are going to have each other forever and that makes me happier than words can describe. Rhaegan has grown into a wonderful "2nd Mom" for Harper. She changes diapers, entertains and gives Harper more hugs than she knows what to do with. Marlee has also been a sweet big sister to Harper although that transition took a little bit longer for her.

Their smiles make me so happy and I love watching them interact with each other
(Marlee obviously thought the iPad was more important at this particular moment)
Even though this little peanut, or TT as we like to call her (tiny taylor) isn't the best sleeper I seriously don't think it's possible to love her any more than I already do. She is the sweetest little baby I could have asked for.
I love having 3 daughters!

Wounded

This is what happens when you're riding on a sled being pulled by a four wheeler and the sled starts going fast than the four wheeler causing it to spin out of control and hit a tree. Oh the fun times we have at Papa's house.

Marlee was pretty proud of her battle wounds.

She's 7

Well Rhaegan is 7 years old and I still can't wrap my head around it. It feels like just yesterday she was this adorable little two month old bundle of joy. Now she's all grown up, reading chapter books, writing stories and texting on my phone. Where has the time gone?
Rhaegan at 2 month
I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for her and was so happy with how it turned out. I was a little nervous at first because Rhaegan gets really nervous when she's the center of attention but I thought what the heck...I'll give it a try. She was definitely surprised and a little shy but very excited to see her friends and cousins.
She requested doughnuts for her birthday breakfast
The theme of her party was "Princess and the Popstar" so I made microphone cupcakes and had a nail painting station.

It was a great day for everyone. Rhaegan is still saying thank you and is already planning her next party. Thank you everyone who came and helped my pull this off. It was so much fun!
