This Memorial Day weekend was spent in good ole' Laramie, WY. We headed over there from Utah on Sunday morning and spent the afternoon and evening with my Oma and Opa Cupps. We hadn't seen them in two years so this trip was definitely overdue.
The girls absolutely loved Oma and Opa (who wouldn't) and had so much to tell them. We played cards and they watched them swim at our hotel. We went out to dinner and just enjoyed ourselves.
On Monday we spent the morning swimming and then headed over to the house and immediately started a game of War. Marlee and Rhaegan think this game is the best thing ever invented. Playing cards with Oma and Opa is a memory which goes back years and years. We would have brought out the nickels for the rummy down game but decided with Marlee we'd better minimize the amount of choking hazards in arms reach of her.

Everyone thinks I have a soft spot in my dad's heart but the spot I have in my heart for this man is just as big.
