Rhaegan & the Drawer

As I turned the corner into the kitchen I noticed something out of the ordinary. Rhaegan was sitting in a drawer. The first thing I wanted to do was say, "Rhaegan get out of there." Then I remembered a picture of myself doing the exact same thing when I was her age. I had to get a picture. I told her to stay there and I ran to get the camera. Luckily she listened and stayed put.

First Edition

Like everyone else, I have decided to use my spare time very wisely. I decided to BLOG!! I'm definitely going to need some guidance from the pros (Kate & Denise) but I'll eventually catch on and be blogging like there's no tomorrow.

I feel that the first entry to Taylor Times should begin with a look at our new abode. We made the long trek south (24 miles) to the wonderful city of Pleasant Grove, UT. We are no longer renting and have purchased our first home (well condo). We absolutely love it!! Rhaegan has already made a lot of friends all of whom are boys. This of course makes Shae so happy (haha). There are two big playground sets in our complex so everyday Rhaegan and I are out there swinging or sliding down the slides a hundred times. Every kid here has a bike and so of course Rhaegan now wants one. She has no idea how to ride a bike but wants one nonetheless. And I most add that for those of you who know Rhaegan and how she hates to be dirty, well that has changed thanks to the 7 little boys she plays with everyday. She has more cuts and bruises now than ever before. She doesn't complain when her hands get dirty anymore which is nice.

Shae and I have also made a lot of friends. They are all really nice and welcoming here. I think it also helps to have a kid. Shae is now only 1 mile away from his office which allows him to come home for lunch. We love being able to see him more now.
